Privacy Policy

Effective June 12, 2026 · Applies to Splice PDF for macOS

The short version: Splice PDF collects nothing. Your documents are processed entirely on your Mac, the app never connects to the internet, and we have no servers, accounts, or analytics.

What we collect

Nothing. Splice PDF does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no telemetry of any kind.

Your documents stay on your Mac

Every operation — splitting, combining, reordering, rotating, deleting pages — happens locally on your computer. Your PDFs are never uploaded anywhere. Specifically:

Analytics and third parties

Splice PDF contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party code that phones home. We do not use cookies or any other tracking technologies, in the app or on this website.

Purchases through the App Store

Splice PDF is sold through the Mac App Store. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple, and Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized statistics (such as the number of downloads by country). We never receive your name, email address, payment details, or any other personal information from your purchase. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Because we collect no data from anyone, we also collect no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy and change the effective date above. Given the app's design — local-only, no network — we don't expect it to.
